G.O.Ms.No.733, Revenue (UC.II) Department dated:31-10-1988
Whereas in the reference read above, the Government of Andhra Pradesh in exercising the powers conferred under section 20(1)(a) of the Urban Land (Ceiling & Regulation) Act, 1976 have accorded exemption of the vacant land or the agricultural land, which is likely to be used for non agricultural purposes at the option of the holder thereof, or both to a maximum extent of five acres (Acres 5.00) situated within the peripheral area as specified in column(3) of the Schedule-I to the Urban Land (Ceiling & Regulation) Act, 1976 of the Hyderabad Urban Agglomeration. Vijayawada Urban Agglomeration, Vizag Urban Agglomeration, Guntur Urban Agglomeration and Warangal Urban Agglomeration in excess of the ceiling limit from the provisions of the Chapter-III of the Urban Land (Ceiling & Regulation) Act, 1976.
2. The Government after careful examination of the matter hereby make the following amendment in the G.O.MS.No.733, Rev.(UC.II) Department dted the 31st October, 1988.
A M E N D M E N T
In the said orders, in Paragrah 6, after item (b) the following shall be added namely,
(c) These exemption orders hall not apply, where the Government have taken over possession of the surplus land under section 10(5) and 10(6) of the Urban Land (Ceiling & Regulation) Act, 1976 from the declarants in all the five Urban Agglomrations, as on date 31-10-1988
